PhD opportunity in the role of community cinema
The Meaning and Role of Community Cinema in Rural Norfolk
The University of East Anglia, in partnership with Creative Arts East (CAE), is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified applicant for a full-time collaborative PhD studentship, for three years commencing 1 October 2012. The studentship is funded through the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Awards Scheme.
The award holder’s tuition fees will be paid by the AHRC and the award holder will also receive a maintenance grant of approx. £14,000.
This project will be of interest to applicants with a background in film studies. Applicants should hold (or expect to achieve) a Master’s degree and either a 1st Class or Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant discipline.
The closing date for applications is midnight 27th July 2012. Interviews will be conducted on Tuesday 14th August 2012
